Mystery

Part 1: Mystery

Sacramental

Prayer & Discernment

Objective

Participate in the Sunday Eucharist weekly.

Active Participation: “First of all, it means the interior participation of all the powers of the soul in the mystery of Christ's sacrificial love. Participation, in the first place, is something interior; it means that your mind and heart are awake, alert and engaged.”[1]

To pray daily in order to help shape one’s life with the will of the Lord.

How it Relates to Confirmation

The Sunday Eucharist is the foundation and confirmation of all Christian practice (CCC 2181).

This is therefore the most important component of the program.

Confirmation calls for a deeper relationship with Christ, and high school is a pivotal time for careful discernment
