| How it Relates to Confirmation | The first year focuses on what it means to be a Catholic, in order to more fully understand what one is being fully initiated into through Confirmation. | After receiving the gifts of Confirmation, the focus shifts outward by examining Christian history, living a Christian life, and how one can play an active role the body of Christ today. | By examining Divine Revelation in the scripture in a small group setting and applying it to our experiences, the Candidates are called to realize that the Word of God is eternally relevant. | |
